~My Thoughts~
AWESOME!!!!!
I want my own Syrie...Pretty Please!?!?!
I loved how easy this story flowed and the characters were so fun.

The twins, Simone and Raquel, really spark the story. One heck of a duel.
I thought the envelope was going to be the topper between the two of the them, OMG....I so did not see the kicker with Syrie....Nice!!!!

I'm so in LOVE with Syrie, rainbow hair and eyes....I'll take the half bird -man any day.
I can't believe he's gonna die....that's just so...so...so...so...WRONG!!!
It's Killing me!!!!

The training of the Zodiac keepers is AWESOME....I swear if I woke up buried alive...I WOULD PANIC!!!
Heck half the things they did....nope can't say I would go along with it....
Although, the idea of dressing myself with just thinking about what I wanted to wear...Now  that I can handle :0)

I can't wait to see what happens next....I mean we're left on a cliff hanger....

The Three lost Kids & The Christmas Curse by Kimberly Kinrade ~Review Blitz~

Christmas everyday sounds like the best thing ever to Bella and her sisters. But when a special Wishing Stone grants her heart's desire, The Three Lost Kids discover the curse hidden in the wish.

Now they have to stop Christmas no matter what--even if that means ending up on Santa's Naughty List.

Will the girls learn the true meaning of Christmas and find a way to break the curse? Or will they be stuck in their self-created Jingle Bells Nightmare forever?

~My Thoughts~
I truly LOVE Kimberly Kinrade!!!
I remember when I was younger and I wanted it to be Christmas everyday too, after reading this....I'll NEVER have that thought again!!!!

Bella sure did get everyone in a giant mess....just because she didn't get what she wanted. Totally selfish!!!
Lucky for her she has her sisters there at first to enjoy the mess and then to try to help fix it!

Out of the five Lost Kids books I'd have to say this is the most humorous....Presents coming everyday, Snowflake in the garage, putting Santa to sleep...Oh and don't forget the snowball fights!!!

I'm pleasantly surprised that Ms. Kinrade didn't take an easy route to undo the curse, but instead made the girls learn a valuable lesson before it was lifted.
It's a lesson that so many seem to forget at this time of year and to have it brought forth in this way was just totally remarkable!!!
Heck, even Santa sent a note in the end.

A wonderful Holiday read for any age.....

~A Special Guest Post From Our Author~

The Most Common Mistake in Fantasy Writing

First off, thanks for having me! I’m here on my Treasonous Blog Tour to talk about my favorite thing in the world: books. In particular, the fantasy genre.
Isn’t fantasy fun? It has magic, monsters, adventure, battles, and a general sense of badassery that can’t quite be matched by anything else. Fantasy is based on the inexplicable. It brings the impossible to life. Both the author and reader can just let their imaginations roam.
Well, for the most part. The novel still has to be believable.
A few of you just scoffed at me. I mean, theoretically, I just contradicted myself, right? Fantasy is based on the impossible. So why should it be believable?
No matter the genre, a fiction novel must allow the reader to suspend belief. That’s where the true power of fantasy comes from: the ability to let yourself completely and totally buy into whatever world the author creates. So if the author has a world where characters act with irrational motivation, we as the reader are going to scratch our heads a bit. We’re going to pull away from the story, and if it continues, we’ll put the book down.
Characters need solid motivation. Dialogue must be natural and fluid. The plot must include cause and effect. Creatures must appear before they plot needs them, or they’ll seem like a deus ex machina.
In essence, even the wildest story with the craziest characters and the most bizarre creatures must be believable.
For instance, take a look at my paranormal fantasy novel Lichgates. It’s the first in the Grimoire Trilogy, a series I’ve been planning since 2006. I’ve put intense effort into making sure the plot flows in a realistic arc and the characters’ emotions and reactions are raw and real. The world I created—Ourea—is both beautiful and terrifying. Ourea’s magic has a philosophy to it, and the kingdoms even have economies and political struggles. It’s a diverse world, and you catch glimpses of it through the main characters’ narratives. There is a broader world behind the plot, one you can explore if you feel the desire. If you don’t want to do that, this background still creates what I believe is a more rounded, realistic setting that allows the reader to fully suspend belief.
So what do you think? What fantasy novel did you read recently that just wowed you, and why? Did you find yourself wishing you could slip away into the world the author created?
Boyce is a fantasy and paranormal fiction author who likes sarcasm and cookies. You can find her books on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Ice Cold by Cheery Adair ~Blog Tour~

T-FLAC operative Rafael Navarro will never allow another woman to suffer the consequences of his dangerous life. But in a world where a terrorist can do more damage with a keyboard than a bomb, he needs the expert help of a cyber-geek. And fast.

Fellow operative, and cybercrimes specialist Honey Winston prefers computers to people. But when a serial bomber threatens the world’s financial infrastructure, she’s forced to work closely with Navarro, whose notorious skill in the bedroom is as legendary as his dexterity defusing bombs.

Honey and Rafael must fight sparks hot enough to melt their resolve, and push beyond fear itself, as they join forces in a bid to race the clock before a sinister and lethal bomber proves just how much they both have to lose.
T-FLAC is back, and the timer is counting down in the most pulse-pounding explosive op yet—

~My Thoughts~
I have to give Ms. Adair credit, Opening a book with a kick-butt fight scene   between the two main characters was one heck of a way to go!!
Then to top it with a "Kiss me!", Wholly Boogers!!!!

"Ice Princess", Honey, has to be my favorite character... she's got it all. She's got the money, the look, the attitude and then some (LOL).
I think it's amazing how a person can keep a front up as strong as she does in the beginning....show no emotions. She is by far a totally bad ass!!
Of course until Hot and sexy comes along!

Hot and Sexy, Navarro, is one character in the beginning I thought for sure was going to be just another "Ladies man" types of guy. Just there basically for the heroine's needs and nothing major. Boy was I totally wrong!
He's the one to crack the hard shell kept around Honey and the one she team's up with to help clear the evidence...

Over all a wonderful story to keep you guessing and the adventure alone well worth the read!

~Today we welcome Mary Whitney, Author of A Political Affair~

After this bitter election, the one thing I think everyone can agree on is
to thank god it's over! If we're lucky, it will be another eighteen months
before we begin the next round of nasty television and radio ads.
Personally, I'm just happy to be able to answer my phone again.
It's hard to see anything romantic about politics. Mud doesn't make anyone
look or smell good. Even when we're out of the nasty election cycle, if we
do hear of romance in politics, it isn't sweet at all. It's usually
something tawdry, where more often than not, innocent families are hurt
because of a politician's hubris.
Yet we're all easily drawn to elected officials-even those we don't agree
with on the issues. We see beyond our differences with some because they're
charismatic, funny, and passionate, and occasionally good looking. Kennedy
and Reagan are two who usually come to mind.
So why do politicians end up in sex scandals more than your average person?
The simple answer is that they don't get out much, plus they're so
egotistical they think they get away with anything. Many of them spend most
of their time with their staff rather than their family or friends. They're
idolized and don't socialize like normal people. So in the tight quarters of
an office with staff who would go through fire for you, passions can flare.
Despite all of that, I love politics, and I relish a good scandal. In
writing A Political Affair, I wondered what would happen if the affair was
actually a well-intentioned one. What if the pair truly loved one another?
How could they get around their situation and actually grow a relationship?
And how would the public react once it was disclosed in the middle of an
election? I hope I've drawn a story that plays that out, while poking fun at
the political world. After all, making fun of politicians is always good
time, and they definitely deserve it!

A Political Affair by Mary Whitney ~Blog Tour~

No one expected Stephen McEvoy to fill his father’s U.S. Senate seat at such a young age, least of all him. The scion of a revered political dynasty, he’s appointed to the Senate after his father’s untimely death. Now he’s in a tough election battle against an archconservative. When clever Anne Norwood interns in his office, he dismisses her as another pretty face—until her independent streak catches his attention. She soon finds him far more interesting than his Senator McEvoy persona. They’re both too smart to fall for one another, yet they do. Their relationship becomes a political gamble in a tight election, and all the while, his opposition lies in wait for him to make a mistake. As Stephen’s past catches up with him, he and Anne must fight for their future. Their lives mean more than politics, and campaigns—like love—are either won or lost.

~My Thoughts~
An intriguing, well written novel that has you from page one.
The characters and the setting are beyond what anyone would expect from a book. Ms. Whitney has totally out done herself!

I truly found myself falling for Senator Stephen McEvoy myself, but who wouldn't....with his charismatic self. Intelligent and romantic, just what every woman wants.
When Anne Norwood comes on the scene, I knew from that first few lines where things were going to go....it's just as if you are sitting there at the table with the rest of the interns....AWESOME!
She is everything thing he wants....Lovely, smart, ambitious...but everything he doesn't need with a re-election coming up.
The numbers are too close!
All through out this novel you find yourself giddy to worried to on the edge of your seat....to the end.
Chemistry is a strong thing!
One of my top ten books of the year!
