I have been looking forward to this hop!!!!!

I mean BANNED BOOKS.....LOL

I'll be honest a bunch of the books I read would be banned, if not burned in many small towns *evil grin*

I keep remembering the part of the movie "Footloose", you all remember that part where they burned all those helpless books.....so sad :(

Can you imagine if they ever even read even one chapter of one of the Highlander books I so love. Lord help them if they read a Vampire book! I mean if you scroll down you'll see the Young Adult book "Blood".....Yep! That would Burn baby.

So, anyways enough of my chatter....you want to get to the fun stuff!

I went for a whole new book here.....Young Adult.
I know....But it's a Vampire Book....I just couldn't help myself!!!!!
That being said......
Believe it or not it was actually really GOOD....almost to the point I want to rate it!!!!
(But I won't because I rather you all like a book for the book and not a rating)

This book actually has a vampire who had to learn all about what kind of creature he had become ....meaning nobody is there babysitting him to insure his every need is taken care of. Then of top of that........HE DRINKS HUMAN BLOOD!!!
YEP!!!! He even kills a man!!! OMG....Can you believe that????
Now don't get me wrong, there's still a girl to romance and strangers to trust or not to trust with his "life", but this is by far the start of a great trilogy!!!!
The book ends on an amazing cliffhanger that will have the readers biting at the nail for the second book.
K.J. Wignall did an outstanding job with the writing and characters.
Well Done!!!

The writing was vivid and flowed from chapter to chapter with ease.The characters were FANTASTIC! (I want my own Oli!)

I mean the Chick can bend the elements for heaven sakes!!!

 

As you read you find yourself lost in Callie's life. The canter between her family and friends was just so realistic. It was just so AMAZING.

Then when you think you've got it all figured out and you know who's bad and who's good.....

NOT!!!!!

BAM!!!!

You're at the end....Left with the Biggest cliffhanger to ever hit the faeries in a lifetime!
